Business Council X Treasure Hacks Soft Skill Seminar 2024

Business Council and Treasure Hacks hosted a Soft Skills Seminar in collaboration on February 17th, 2024 for all students who were interested in practicing and improving their communication skills for the business world.   

Students joined passionate peers in learning various communication and empathy skills in a new, gamified format built by and for students on campus. The hosts, Business Council and Treasure Hacks representatives, applied their picked up soft skills during this seminar. They were familiar with the difficulty that comes with getting past the first hurdles of building professional identities, so they have formed an event that eased students' way into figuring out their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to communicating with other business professionals. This event featured three main parts: networking, presenting, and a casual presentation competition. Each one was accompanied by the attendance of several industry speakers, free meals, and interactive games that created the perfect environment for students to grow their network and find people who care about their professional development.
